UNC Admissions

I worked for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at UNC as their Social Media Intern during the fall semester of 2019. As their photographer and videographer, I was responsible for generating content for all social media channels and engaging with the campus community. One of my largest projects while interning was launching their IGTV channel. The first ever video created featuring a UNC campus food tour is linked to the right.

Tidal New York

TIDAL New York is all about the comfort. With the simple goal of pure and blissful comfort, brothers Tim and Tommy Gibb set out to create TIDAL New York in 2015. Through intentional design and innovative manufacturing processes, they created a comfortable flip flop, that is guaranteed to last longer. Thicker soles, better materials, and comfy straps make the flip flops more comfortable than the rest, but also from a company that customers can support. “Tidals are locally and ethically made at our low-waste factory in New Rochelle, NY. We believe in comfort from the ground up.”

In the summer of 2019, I joined TIDAL New York, a sustainable flip-flop brand. As a member of their Marketing and Creative team, I delved into editorial photography, fashion photography, and film photography. I worked closely with fashion and social media icons from Teen Vogue, Man Repeller, The Webster, and many more during our photoshoots for TIDAL. I reinvented their Pinterest account, generating a 159% increase in audience and reach. At the end of the summer, TIDAL New York partnered with start-up, body positive, UNC alumni founded, swimwear company, Kitty and Vibe. We threw a rooftop pool party for influencers from far and wide. I was able to document it.

Some of my work for Tidal New York can be seen on their Instagram @tidalnewyork, on their website tidalnewyork.com, and in publications such as @hypebeast, @footwearnews, @highsnobiety.

Owl’s Brew

Owl’s Brew was founded in 2013 by tea experts Jennie Ripps and Maria Littlefield. They offer all-natural, organic products that are brewed-up from whole tea leaves, fruits, spices and herbs, with no added or artificial flavors. Owl’s Brew believes that you should drink wise, live well, and celebrate.

In the summer of 2019, I had the wonderful opportunity to work closely Owl’s Brew as their photographer. I spearheaded photoshoots, art directed and managed the set, models, and assistants. I was invited by the co-founder’s Jennie and Maria to travel to Montauk, NY. There I photographed the Boozy Tea launch event at the Surf Lodge while connecting with event guests.
